Oh ok, so it works when you have submitted the post, just not on
preview post
Yeah, that confused me earlier as well.

I'll look into it to stop it affecting anyone else in the future.
Also when i click your photos they come up in a flash screen kinda thing, but mine ask to download/open etc?
Any ideas?

It's a Javascript plugin that I need to look at. No idea why it hasn't worked with your post. I need to scratch my head and look into it, although it may take a while...
...it might be easier to disable the plugin

I think it may have been because I enabled the plugin while you were posting, therefore your browser had the old code in its cache. If you close your browser then open it again it should work next time.
If not then I'll disable the effect because it makes the board look broken :dodgy:
i've tried on multiple computers now, they all have the same thing, (the box prompting open/save/cancel)
Hmmm, this is very weird. I am looking into it, as well as the text box being too large and blocking one of the Post Option buttons. Hopefully it will get sorted this week.

OK, I'm learning fast with this forum software, plenty to keep the grey matter working overtime! The open/save/cancel is IE being dumb (as always) it doesn't happen in any other browser, hence the alert at the top of the main page suggesting Firefox/Chrome (or even Safari now I've fixed the JPG colour profiles for the site).
IE also has a load of other annoyances such as alerting you to '
this site is trying to run scripts' when trying to insert a URL link in a post. Again, none of this happens in Firefox etc...
And as for the fancy Flash image attachment plugin, the reason why some images open with it and some not is to do with the way the forum interprets the image you upload; some get seen as images, some not etc. The plugin for this is currently being ironed out.
Phew, and if that wasn't enough, I'm contemplating a Wiki for this site, all about Media Center, Windows Home Server, DIY installs etc. Sort of a bible for the work required.
OK, I've managed to upgrade the forum software and all necessary plugins today to the latest versions, and yes, the flash attachment plugin now works. At last
