If I save my blu rays as iso files what the easiest way to play these in windows 7 media centre. Ive read elsewhere you need to mount the iso file first, is there a simpler solution to pretty much just select it and the media centre dies everything in the background.

Well try Virtual Clonedrive to mount the ISO, and also Mikinho Mount Image as a tool to mount the image for you from something like Media Browser.
Do either of them do it all in the background. Ideally after something where for example innmedia browser I just select the film and it will automatically mount then play. Need to keep it simple for the misses :)

Yeah, both do.

An alternative is My Movies that mounts and plays images.
