uTorrent on WHS
I followed this tutorial Here to install uTorrent on my shiny shiny WHS. It works......sort of.

Things that don't work:- (1 & 2 may be the same problem/reason)

1) I cannot fathom out why the WebUI doesn't connect to uTorrent from the WHS Console Loco

2) The username/password i setup in uTorrent matches WHS console settings but configuration button is still red Wah

3) The built in WebUI wouldn't connect through IE or Chrome. WebUI address is http://YourIP:Port/Gui

What i fixed:-

1) WebUI download from here & place zip file in %AppData%\uTorrent (Paste this path into the Explorer address bar).

Once that was done i could access uTorrent from any machine on the network via the browser. If you have already done this or its a bit noddy i appologise, its a big step for me.

Just one thing i have noticed is how WHS doesn't like some passwords & connections from Win 7 machines. It seemed really buggy when i first installed it. However a persistent fault appears to be when i try to access shared folders from the laptop it refuses the username & password even though i access the console from it......Loco

RE: uTorrent on WHS
Torrents? The last P2P I used was eMule (which I think has its own WHS Add In). What with Spotify and Lovefilm(Wink), who needs Torrents any more Tongue

Not at all. It means I haven't used P2P for bloody years! Got fed up with a computer full of music and software that I never used or even needed in the in the first place. I'm a kosher PC used these days Smile

I veer towards open-source software alternatives and cheap media (such as Spotify and DVD rental - buying the films that I like of course Wink).

Jeg fulgte This tutorial Hendes [/ url] for at installere uTorrent in min skinnende blanke WHS. DET virker ...... slagger.

Ting, der ikke fungerer: - (1 & 2, KAN directly problem / årsag)

1) Jeg KAN ikke forstå, hvorfor WebUI ikke forbinde Til uTorrent FRA WHS Console: loco:

2) DET brugernavn / password i setup i uTorrent Kampe WHS konsollen Image Number, mænd konfigurationen knap is stadig rød: wah:

3) Den indbyggede WebUI Ville ikke tilslutte via IE Eller Chrome. WebUI Adresse ER http://YourIP:Port/Gui

Finde jeg hurtigt: -

1) WebUI hentes FRA hende [/ url] & Sted zip-blev slettet i% AppData% \ uTorrent (Indsæt This Vej IND i Explorer adresselinjen).

Nar DET skete jeg kunne fa adgang Til uTorrent FRA enhver Maskine in netværket via browseren.
