UPS
Anyone have any recommendations?
The only ones I've ever purchased and fitted were server grade ones for work. Needs to Power HTPC + Drobo (External Raid HDD) + Two External Hard drives to allow time for automated graceful shutdown Also - Not the place I realise but I'm trying to sell a unused Acer X1230S Short throw projector, I'm not really in the mood to list it on sites where I'm going to loose 20% + of its value in fees on the off chance it might sell so if anyones interested or knows someone point them in my direction! |

The best one has been an APC Back-UPS CS 350. Got it for £60 and it's great. Much quicker to turn on and off and a great all-round bit of kit. Oh, the PJ you can advertise in the Classifieds section elootos - mediacenterhouse.com This forum has no strict rules, just those I make up as I go along! |

RE: UPS
Thanks for the recommendation, I'm a big fan of APC for server level projection and more business grade, infact I'm using a APC SmartUPS 750XL as a foot rest right now, I didn't know if their home user stuff also cut the grade.
Found the APC you were talking about on ebuyer for £63 , I'll stick it in the next order. http://www.ebuyer.com/product/25766 I'll stick the PJ in the classifieds now, hopefully someone might be interested. |
