TotalMedia Theatre Platinum 3 (TMT3)
OK, lesson learnt, I have now installed TMT3 and PowerDVD has been removed from all my Media Centers. Wink

This coupon code even worked giving me 20% off: ARC404P20

A much better player for all films, although I'm not sure I like their SimHD feature to 'upscale' DVDs. It's a bit harsh looking with it sharpness, but set to value 1, gives a much smoother result.

I would post screen grabs but it disables the 'print screen' keyboard button for HDCP protocol I guess.

I didnt bother with the sim hd plugin for the same reasons.
A nice thing that does work on my system (never did with pdvd) is setting the desktop rez to 23hz (23.976...?) The media center is set to 50hz. So when a ripped Bluray is played via My Movies I get silky smooth playback at the correct framerate without any stutter.

I got a second copy for my Revo and the same results work with the ION gpu at full 1080p

Nice. I'll try that when I get back Thumb

Yeah, SimHD did make me think it was broken at first... Dry

Did you get the updated version? version 180 is the latest. Only change for me is lpcm is proper multi channel now.
TBH I`ve not been watching that many movies as I`ve been backing up. Only another 50 or so Blurays to go.
