Snowed in? Get posting!

With the so-called bad weather upon us again there is little else to do other than surround ourselves in 5.1 and bathe in the luxuriant glow that is HD on Media Center. I might watch Machete today, anyone else got any other snowed in ideas?

Mariocart on the wii or a good sesh on Assassins Creed Brotherhood may be cracked today.

Not really snowed in too bad, but it's still a good excuse to do some wiring.
We changed the bedroom around to make room for a cot for the young lad (too big for the moses now) so hence all the points for the tv and network are in the wrong place
Thankfully I have enough cable to make some new points in the room.

Er, unfortunately for me, the tree HAS to go where the sub is, so I'm 5.0 for the Xmas period.

Luckily I have 2 subs so I'm down, but not out

My Brother in Law has Monitor Audio speakers and 'doesn't do subs'. His compensation is playing the movie way too loud. Bless his socks, the louder the better...

Its bad in rural Northumberland, no electic,water or mobile phone signal doesnt help with the idea of a lazy movie day either!

All the guttering has come down, the outdoor lights ripped off, my lads trampoline has been ruined and i cracked the windscreen in the car (it was -14!)

On a more positive note i went to see this which i am picking up in the new year (keeping the above 4x4 though as this is the 2nd time in 12 months it been like this up here)
