Hi Chaps

About time I introduced myself. I'm Rob, I've been lurking AV forums for a few years and always wanted to do a media PC set up but was waiting till I bought my own place.

And guess what. I pick up the keys on the 17th dec.

So basically I'm starting from scratch almost so I'll be asking lots of questions I'm afraid. If possible I'll do a project thread to keep it as neet as possible.

Can't wait to get started.

Indeed. I have lots of ideas. House is a bit of a shell too so proper blank canvas.

There will certainly be a bit of automation and innovation.

I will say that it was seeing your install on AV forums that got me excited about the possibilities. I'm afraid I (as many others) will probably end up with something similar. The fake chimney idea just works so well.
