Mobile devices forum
There's now a new forum section for mobiles and mobile devices (which I guess one day in the not-too-far-off-future will cover pretty much every piece of kit Rolleyes)

I'll be adding my own little something there when I get rid of my of stupid WM6.1 brick and move to something a little more svelte...

RE: Mobile devices forum
I love mobile phones. After all I'm writting this post on one right now. But do you know what really hacks me off? The fact if you don't have lolly to spend you get trapped in a 2 year contract with the decent phones. That's if your service provider decides that they will give it to you even though you've been a loyal customer for several years. I have to swap contracts every time I want to negotiate a decent deal. You think they would learn from this, keep you paying money to them, after all they charge enough over two years to recouperate the cost.
Hmm rant over, have you checked out how much you can get from it if you want to sell, or are you recycling the phone to someone else?
A 2 year contract is way to long, by the time I get to renew mine next april I will probably see 3d hi def projecting media phones and I've still got a current iPhone.

Yeah, it's getting to the point where I'd rather pay for them outright and have it when I want. But I appreciate the need for longer contracts given the cost of these bad boy devices Thumb

However, I worked for mobile company in Australia back in 2000 and all they had then were 2 year contracts, and if you think back to what the phones were like then, just imagine.... Rolleyes
