Media Center audio output
Hi,

i'm new in this forum where i hope i can find solutions to optimize my MC HOUSE! :)

At this moment i have a htpc with XP MCE that is connected through DVI to my LCD 32" and through S-video to a marmitek av sender that streams the MC to the others analog old TVs.

My project is to upgrade to Win7 and his amazing MC but with tis OS i cannot stream audio through digital and analog output contemporanely (possible in XP MCE).

How can i solve that?

Thank you!

Sound is always the biggest letdown with PCs I think. What should seem quite simple is never implemented, like playing out of dual outputs for example.

Depending on your current soundcard (onboard?), you may have to upgrade to a decent 3rd party model like something from Auzentech.
I've read that they can output via spdif and analogue at the same time.

Yes at this moment i'm using my onboard audio soundcard (ASUS P5B)..i'll look to the Auzentech soundcard...do you know what particular model can do this?

and if i buy a low profile sound card i can use this contemporanely with the motherboard one?

this will allow me to have all the jacks i need to stream audio to all my TV's (also se always in analog)
