Hovering magic
I don't want to diss your site elootos, cause is A*.
Any chance you could program that voodoo magic in your site, so when you hover over a thread listing it comes up with a small window showing you what that person has written, so you don't have to open the whole thread.
Makes it easier to navigate I think, especially since your collecting quite a few post now.
Maybe something for the quieter winter months, ver 2.1

RE: Hovering magic
I'll check out some plugins for the site, although I thought I had something already around here somewhere...

I also need to figure out why this site slows down sometimes, plenty of headroom on the server, so time to break out the 'Linux For Dummies' book me thinks.

Who do you use to host your web site out of interest?

Me, myself and I Thumb

It started on a Zen domestic package but now has its own VPS (Virtual Private Server) hosted by Tagadab. Very much hands on and requires remote configuration via a control panel, but I am learning a little 'o bit of Linux at the same time so it's win-win Thumbsup

(however it is quite scary when you get server errors 'cos you've been tinkering in the system folder - hopefully no one's ever noticed Wink)

RE: Hovering magic
I thought I had something working like what you mention already. If you browse the forums (not the main page) then it shows the first 200 characters of the thread when hovering over them.

Need to see if it'll work on the main page and show complete thread as well.

Incredible how much stuff is collecting on here now; there's stuff I've no memory of writing/reading! Scary.

RE: Hovering magic
I've been away for a week working and found quite a few new post (49) waiting when I came back.
I normally click on the 'read new post', any chance your widget can work on that option too?
Sorry if I sound like a bum hole.

Your getting quite a few followers now, and your certainly getting good google kudos. Well done.
