Hi,
I am just about to build a media pc to work with an HD projector, amplifier etc. and hope to find some good ideas and feedback on good equipment to buy here. My stuff is still in the shops at the moment as I'm trying to decide exactly what to build ! Merging hobbies are: 1. Home automation. I run Harmony (Domialifestyle) software on a WinXP laptop for home automation of X10 and BBSB devices, and have a different pc for Harmony CCTV. All controllable with my XDA, and in Win7 MCE too. Trying to get voice recognition going this week  2. Motorised satellite systems. I have installed them for family and friends, and like the look of that ultimate pc card in one of the threads here. Disecq 2 eh  So, I've got a few ideas of what I want to put in my media centre pc, and it might as well double up as one of the Harmony machines ! |
