Hello from Cambridge
Just testin'
---- Windows 7 Media Centre on 3 PC's, 2 of which have Hauppauge DVB S2 cards, looking at Astra 2A and Eurobird, with a Lacie NAS server that I hope to put recorded TV onto.

RE: Hello from Cambridge
Welcome to the forums.
What kind of cases are the Media Centre pc's or are they just pc's around the house? Look forward to seeing some images

PC's are bog standard (OK I have a rather large Soprano DX case with curvy and blue sparkly bits in my study) but basically all of the PC's and wires are hidden under desks in mine and my wife's studies. All keyboards and mice are MS wireless. 3rd PC is tucked away in the utility room feeding directly into the kitchen, where we have the main 26" IIyama heavily used PC / TV. Other monitors are IIjama 22" and 19". Study has the Lacie NAS II 1Tb and all PC's feed into a gigabyte switch + Barricade N wireless router + Virgin Media cable modem. I installed a 4 way LNB sat dish with 2 other wires feeding Humax Foxsat HD's (no hard disks though on these older boxes) for TV's in Lounge and Bedroom. As you might have guessed, I hate seeing any wires, I am determined not to pay for viewing via Sky or Cable but go for FreeSat. Also have been trying to escape from the MS clutches for over 20 years now and have eventually succumbed - almost happy now. Have various other questions to post in the coming days... Cheers
