Easy technology
Just come back from a week in a cottage in the English countryside, which had a 14" Freeview TV in the lounge, and a DAB radio in the kitchen, and I think I may be coming down with something, but I found it a mild relief just using easy, everyday tech!

No PCs, no Media Center (Ohmy), just push a button and on it comes; no recording, no timeshifting, just sit down and push the EPG button and watch what happens to be on at the time. And no TV in the kitchen, just a bit of pre-tuned Radio.

Oddly liberating...

...good to be home though, one week was enough Wink

RE: Easy technology
A bigger man than myself then.
Me and the girlfriend just got back from a week in a log cabin in Scotland, was a beautiful place, right on a loch. But I had to take a laptop with me and an external hdd with some media on, so I could watch some movies and tv shows whilst away ^_^

Ha ha, I did forget to admit that I had my laptop and worked away on that for about 5hrs a day! Biggrin

I think the roaring open fire and the beer in the fridge took my mind off the 14" TV and lack of internet TV-on-demand. Thumb
