Christmas presents!
The chaos of Christmas has now passed now for me, time for another 50 weeks of normality up ahead, phew :)
I think this is the first year I didn't ask Santa for anything gadget related as well, I guess the mrs elootos thinks I already have enough ![]() However, how did everyone else fare? Anyone get anything Media Centre or Home Cinema related from those they  elootos - mediacenterhouse.com This forum has no strict rules, just those I make up as I go along! |

Edit: For those in the dark, it is a charger that charges via magnetic induction. Certain devices have a powermat battery case that is substituted for the original one and you place the device on the mat in one of the three places, the new backplate handshakes with the mat via RFID and charges your're devices. The RFID tag inform the mat of the battery levels and stops charging when it is full. This certainly will cut down on the amount of chrgers in Dunc's house (I hate the ever present tangle of chargers around the house).

RE: Christmas presents!
Got my full version of Windows 7
A dream to install and no hicups Also I kind of got a new tv given to me. Not really a present though, just in my mind it is. Mother wanted a bigger TV (honestly I had nothing to do with making her mind up :s) She is now a proud owner of a 32" 1080p LG tv at the brilliant value of £300. Cheers Mr Curry. In turn she gave me her old tv. http://www.what-hdtv.co.uk/Samsung/LE23R86WD.html I love that white look, so clean looking and not a dust magnet Got to say, although its not 1080p, the picture is outstanding quality, makes everything look so HD, great with Xbox too. Hey Dunk did you have to suggest strongly what you wanted and leave the catalogue page open for the missus, or is in tune with your vibe? "Do or do not. There is no try." Yoda |

Well sort of I mentioned it and happened to purchase it one day as I knew what it was and where it was being sold. There have been numerous ooohhhs and aaaahhhs at the powermat... |

RE: Christmas presents!
I always seem to end up getting what I didn't get myself (if that makes sense...)
Used the excuse of Chrimbo to buy 3No Samsung 1.5TB HDDs, an OEM version of WHS & 2 upgrade licences of Windows 7.

At least that's how I justify it when I look at my bank statements ![]() (01-04-2010 09:42 PM)fixiehipster Wrote: I think i win the prize for best present, I guess it shows how much I'm loved Blimey, I can only hope you're cracking on with your house to hurry up and get it in there. elootos - mediacenterhouse.com This forum has no strict rules, just those I make up as I go along! |
