Aone Ultra Video Joiner 6.1
I've been really happy in what I have accomplished thanks to Elootos and others on here and WMC7 is looking great with a large number of DVD's and Blu Ray discs now stored on three internal drives.
One thing I'm thinking of during the summer is converting the outhouse buildings which consists of two sheds, a coal shed (!) and toilet and knock the walls down and may into two large rooms, the coal shed storing the AV gear and sprucing up the rather standard looking toilet. I have been on the look out for a truly automated playout system, and whilst this software isn't it, behind the scenes it's as good as. Here is the scenario. Large screen tv or projector outside with 5.1 sound and with the press of a button shows a 2 min file similar to cinemas showing info on exits, switching mobiles off etc. Then it goes onto the Pearl & Dean ident, a few commercials, then trailers, back to P&D and then a countdown all in widescreen and some in 5.1 (except P&D) then straight onto the film. In the past it hasn't been possible as I've been unable to set up a playlist via TMT3 to play AVI's, MP4's and of course DVD Files. AUVJ 6.1 cures all this as you point and click the files you want and you can either burn a DVD or use as an ISO and play via TMT3. I've yet to set it up as I haven't had time, but thought others may be interested. Once I get more time, I'll complete... Aone Ultra Video Joiner 6.1.0104 | 9.5 Mb Ultra Video Joiner is a professional video file joining tool which join or merge multiple video files into a large one like AVI Joiner, MPEG Joiner, WMV Joiner, RM Joiner, MP4 Joiner etc. The Movie Joiner supports so many video formats including AVI, Divx, XviD, MPEG, WMV, ASF, RM, MOV, 3GP, MP4, FLV, MKV formats. You even can use it to convert a single file. It also supports join video files to VCD/SVCD image and DVD-Video files, so you can burn them into one VCD/SVCD/DVD disc easily by using third-party burning tools. It already includes all video encoders and decoders , you don't need to download any other codecs to make it work. With just a few mouse clicks, you can enjoy your movie clips without interruption. http://www.aone-soft.com/video_splitter_..._suite.htm |

RE: Aone Ultra Video Joiner 6.1
Sounds like a good bit of software. Do you have a video of your finished intro?
Your project sounds fun, a true cinematic experience. It reminds me of something I recently had a go at when Dunks showed me this little gem. It's not so much as the website that got me hooked but unknown to me that My Movies has the ability the start a predefined trailer or intro before the film started to play. I'm unsure if you use My movies, but with me I use my movies and TMT5 together (winning combo) My movies will let you choose how many trailers or intros to play, and also whether to play them alphabetically or random. Because I use TMT5 the intros play within the media centre then comes out to play the film in TMT5, it's so clever You can also (don't ask me how) create a custom .NET Framework 2.0 DLL Class Library to receive various events occurring in My Movies. You can use this to dim your lights or have something else automated happen when for instance a film starts. Let us know how your project pans out. "Do or do not. There is no try." Yoda |

Do you have a video of your finished intro? That sounds grand espec creating an automated event whereby the lights dim at the start of a movie, but sure a remote control option would work out easier for me. The shed project is quite huge and will be costly, so depends on what happens later this year. I was put on notice back in October as Vodafone are closing the site in Banbury at the the end of June so if I find something sharpish around that time, and after paying off a few debts with 9 years redundancy I'll see what's left over. I need to draft proof the place etc and get it warm in there as it's chuffin' cold in there at the moment. Oh and a skip or two will be needed. Chances are, I'll play about with this bit of software properly at the weekend and see what potential it has. In regards the videos and idents I play:- Pearl & Dean (1080p) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WQrLuaMB...re=related Great Simpsons Coca Cola advert (1080p) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnUKurl7Fog Countdown (1080p) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zPB-o8fkv4 or Great Dolby HD countdown - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GCYUFdhC...re=related Here is another link for you http://www.demo-world.eu/trailers/high-d...ailers.php This takes you to a HD trailer website. You can find lossless HD clips of Movie company Idents, Dolby, DTS, and lots of other great stuff in 1080p and in 5.1 and above. There are plenty of other 1080p vids of adverts, trailers etc on You Tube and use You Tube HD Downloader to save to the pc. Annoyingly I can't find the one I downloaded showing the static captions about switching your phone off, identifying the exits etc so will update when I can. However, having seen this video over the Christmas break http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPA435yIuzQ I definitely won't be taking tips from this guy (funny Goofy cartoon on home cinema). Highlight of that is when he goes to the store and looks at the tv's available. EDIT:- Found the video I was looking for:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKIeNeyQUBU I have this to start everything off... |

Ha! That's a great Goofy cartoon; I recognise the behavior a bit too much though!
Your idea sounds great; like Northan said, a true cinematic experience. It's funny how certain things make others feel more realistic, such as the Pearl and Dean music. But that aside, you building works sound a major undertaking, fun though!! Any photos of any of it? elootos - mediacenterhouse.com This forum has no strict rules, just those I make up as I go along! |

No photos as yet, very early stages, plus the two major sheds need a good clearout so skips will be hired. At the moment its all plans. The missus isn't happy about it, so still trying to win her around. She's not happy that I could spend the evenings watching films as opposed to being snuggled up in the lounge. It may not happen so may meet her 50/50 and put patio doors where the back window is then put curtains up (floor to ceiling) then cover up when using the cinema room. Then have a small bar area and some seating in there during the summer. Who knows ? We had a discussion about it last night and all thrown up in the air now. If this doesn't go ahead I'll be looking to set up the lounge from scratch. I've the urge to do something major, and now the missus has thrown a spanner in the works. Everyone else is up for the idea espc having a small bar area with a fridge stocked full of beer - my brothers idea ! |

RE: Aone Ultra Video Joiner 6.1
I can see both options being great, but realistically I think your wife will win.
I guess you will see more retail value on your house if you put the doors in and do your lounge up with a proper installation. The idea of a proper sun lounge/garden room/bar is appealing to a lot of people on the market, it doesn't mean you cant have some sort of sound system and tv in there for cranking it up now and then as well. I think unless the shed had proper insulation and heating it can make the room unbearable to use in the colder months. Wouldn't like to think what a little condensation on my circuit boards could do. Ive always wanted to have a projector in the lounge for normal use that can be swung around to project out some patio doors on to the side of a shed or outdoor screen in the summer months. PAR tyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyBTW could you not provide some photos of the project area as it is now? Its always cool to see some pics, beside someone might come out with some great idea that you not considered "Do or do not. There is no try." Yoda |
