ATi Eyefinity
Anyone here got an ATi graphics cards with Eyefinity doing something special?

I see that it allows 3 displays of varying sources (games, docs, video etc) all at the same time. And Media Center is the only video player to allow playback across all 3 screens. Pointless but pretty powerful stuff Thumb

Might have to look into one for the lounge when I re-organise and move the TV away from behind the projector (Media Center on TV for wife while I bugger about playing games on the projector Cool)

RE: ATi Eyefinity
I looked into ATI last month when choosing a new GPU.
I decided on Nvidia because they seem to be just slightly in front with a few things like drivers(correct at the time I chose gpu)

Nvidia have a similar setup including 3d. (a burrowed idea from ati)
Also they can take into account of the bezel edges which I thought was niffty.
I tested the GPU (gtx460) last night with furmark, I was more than impressed with the overall figures.
It remained quiet and stable with everything I threw at it.

RE: ATi Eyefinity
I had a brief look at it a while ago, wanted to pipe the media centre to the bedroom at night. Only problem is media centre would allow me to set the main system to hddts, it allways defaulted to stereo. Gonna be looking into a true multi zone amp soon, that is if I ever get out of my parents house!
