I didn't want to start another mobile thread, specially since the last one seemed to cover everything but has anyone checked out the 4g htc evo sprint

We are behind the times again  By the way whilst I'm here has anyone thought or got an ipad? Yeah, maybe I should start a mobile section on here...
I've been checking out the Evo 4G as well, seems to cover all bases but is a tad large I think. Oh, and as you say, US only at the moment. About a week to go for me and I'm still waging on either a Samsung Galaxy S or a Nexus One. Handled a dummy Galaxy S in the Vodafone shop yesterday and despite its large size, the thinness of it makes it feel pretty compact still. My only need to go Nexus One is for a device that will have guaranteed Android updates, I think the Galaxy S will get one next month to Froyo (2.2), then Samsung will drop it and move on... Ha ha, like the video.
